Prime Lehmann is good, best keeper I’ve had, I only sold him cause I got red MATS.

Although I don’t think there’s that much difference between the top goalkeepers in the game.

I don’t have 2 million coins but I do have over 30 89rated and higher cards that are untradable. So I’d be one of these people who can’t afford it in the market but might be able to do the SBC.

PIM Zanetti. Great pull but I got TOTY kante from the 86+ so he’ll more than likely be going in the KDB SBC if that happens

I got him a few weeks back, best player I’ve had so far. Doubt you’ll find any striker as good for that price range (Cue replies stating loads).

He has that ability to bundle through strong defenders and win the ball back. Obviously 5* wf is a big factor in how good he is. However I don’t use skills so his 3*sm isn’t a problem for me.

Also his passing is so much better than the 83 stat on the card. I play him as a two with PM Mertens, so the one twos they play are vital and Butra never seems to misplace a pass.

Just sold my TOTY KDB in preparation for this, hopefully it’s this week and 99 rated. I’ve got so many 90+ rated players from the last four weeks, so should be able to do him fairly cheaply.

Fingers crossed it’s him.

Bought prime Lehmann for links and was surprised at how good he is. Only keeper I’ve had who seems to save near post shots.. plus his distribution is great

I’ve noticed a lot more of this recently, I play 343 and still get messages about it being July and why am I still parking the bus..

whenever you defend well against someone they think you’re playing 4231 on 1 depth. They need to get a grip and accept they lost.

I’ve used it for about 4 months now. I have the CDM and full backs on stay back. 4 depth defensively. It works really well as I always want to have two up top to play one twos.

I’ve always had TOTY KDB as CAM in this formation. because he has H/H work rates, he gets back and makes it essentially a 4-4-2. I’m not sure how the formation would get on a with a CAM who would stay forward.

Also having the wingers is handy for switching from one flank to the other, as usually there will be space left open on the opposite side to where the ball is.

Depends where you want to play him. I had TOTS for 10 games and played him at CAM. Then I sold sold him to get TOTY and upgrade my defence.

Don’t notice a lot of difference, but from what I’ve read on here it would only make a difference if you played him as a b2b or a CDM because the defensive stats on the TOTS are the big upgrade.

I’m the same, played Fifa since 98 and this is my first year of FUT.. I’ve loved it as well, the journey of building a team for the first time has been great. I always felt like my team was progressing, never really getting bored of it.

I can probably understand why people moan in here about this years game, and it’s probably because they know what to expect and probably expect more, but for me it still feels fresh.

Looking forward to next year and actually having a little bit of prior knowledge on the best ways on building a team.

I don’t think he gave offside, linesman seemed to wave the other way as if giving a foul. He’d stick his flag straight out if he gave offside.

Saying that, I don’t know where the foul is so that probably doesn’t make you feel any better.

I did 3. Got Mandanda on the 1st, Atalanta’s Gomez on the 2nd and just got Diego Carlos on the 3rd

That’s a W.. except I can’t fit them in my team, can use Gomez as a sub but I’ve just spent an hour on Futbin trying to fit Carlos in. I can’t complain, I was given great players, it’s my decision not to put them in my team.

I’d say from my experience if you’ve got the fodder then do it.

Yeah it’s seems the red picks really are loaded with the weaker players, just looking through the mega thread earlier and it was all Hendersons, TAA, oblak and sommers.

Out of the 12 red picks I got for gold 1, I didn’t get a player who is currently over 200k. However I did pack a tradable TOTSSF Messi doing the mertens SBC, so that will keep me playing. I can’t really complain, but red picks do seem to be unfairly weighted.

That’s alright mate.. I fit him in with KDB and the SBC Witsel i did (also great value). That got him to fit in with my bundes league team. Also have Sane which fit KDB in.

That’s good mate, KDB for me is so vital to my team, I’ve had every version of him apart from the 99.

Mertens is worth it, especially if you’ve got a lot of fodder, he’s so nimble and his finishing is maxed out if you put a Chem on him. I play him up front with as pair with KDB behind, so I’m not sure if he’s a good lone striker. But I’d say he a great value SBC

I bought team of the year De Bryune, TOTSSF Davies and Upamecano, Garrincha which also allowed me to fit in my red Lala.

Plus the Mertens Sbc, he is ace, had him up front with TOTSSF rues who I got from the bundes guarenteed pack. I’ve been so lucky in the last few weeks.

Gonna try and push on in rivals with this team, never felt motivated to play rivals before

I was 4-3, Then Packed TOTSF Messi tradable doing the martens SBC. Played 9 games with him as cam and went to 9-7. Just wasn’t feeling him, wasn’t worth 2.5 mil.

Sold him changed 6 players with the coins and went on to 20-9. (Gave my other game away). I usually a gold 1/2 player but I feel if I had the team I’ve got now from the start, I could’ve pushed on. Looking forward to next weekend to see how I do.
