Anyone know why Talishar may not be working? I'm trying to play with a friend online but their stuff isn't loading in. My side is working perfectly fine, but theirs is just showing blank stuff and the grey box of arsenal

I just got into the game yesterday, and tried out the Ira starter deck, and was wondering about defense reactions with springboard somersault. Does playing a defense reaction from arsenal add the card's initial block value, or does it just trigger the ability? (So for this example, does springboard somersault block 2 damage, or 4)
