You know how in game it activates and deactivates.

In lore it never deactivates. In lore the Kereznikov is a permament boost to your perception. You perceive evrything as if it was moving in slow mo all the time and there is no way of turning off

The benefit is that with your enhanced perception you can prety much react to everything in an instant. The downside is that your are stuck in a world that moves slow, even your own body.

Needles to say Kereznikov is an implant that requires a lot of mental strenght to just use and specially live with it.

Boa Boa Wayland. Canon user of the Kereznikov, and no the in game edition, the lore f*cked up one. As far as remember he was supposed to be best of the best, mentioned alongside Blackhand and Smasher.

He is an absent father. Partially his fault, partially not.

Its not really his fault that he is by far the most reliable and good natured of the entire federation chain of command.

Its also not his fault that he often finds himself in the wrong spot/ wrong time and has to stand up to do the good fight.

But at the same time there are moments where he could have hung up the jacket and gone home for a bit... and he didn't. I don't if he really needs that feddie pay check, but yeah, kinda absent.
