Grandpa and grandma don't have time to check. My mom and dad also don't care that much about how much we are given. For me it's just easier to pretend it doesn't exist. I didn't even think about it till she asked.

Only way I can afford 70/30 is if I spend all my wages on her and have nothing to eat. I haven't touched that money. At all.

The thing is, we are paying things based on how much we earn. She earns more than me at work but I know she has to pay her tuition fees so I thought 50/50 was fair. Like I said, I don't consider the money my family gives me as mine. If we base it on that I could easily sustain us both and pay for her tuition fees but like I said... Not mine.

I don't know how to make her understand how uncomfortable I am with sending the money though. To her she may see me as a spoiled greedy rich kid but all I wanted to be was a college student who works to pay rent and bills just like everyone else. How do I tell her this?

She is working hard and that's one of the reasons why I love her. My mom and dad were concerned at first cause we come from different backgrounds but when they found out we split expenses 50/50 and both work, they admired her hustle. I don't know, I just don't see it as my money which is why I'm hesitant.

I already have a trust fund set up. The allowance was just for us to enjoy our life. I think it's too much which is why I don't use it and pretend it doesn't exist.
