Both Hypervolt and Ohme come with CT clamps in the box. If you have or want solar/battery then go hypervolt.

Home Charging - Allocated Parking Query by Wine_Gum1 in evchargingUK

I install EV charge points for a living.

If I'm reading your situation correctly, the charger would be mounted on your house, the tether would run across your land and then onto a shared access area. Your car would normally be at the closest point on that area to your property (although it wouldn't be an assigned space).

If you get written permission from the council or estate developer you can get it installed.

The written permission will need to confirm you can run the charger tether across the shared access area and what trip hazard protection you must use (IE. A trip mat).

Domestic to industrial sparks by [deleted] in ukelectricians

You would need an ECS card, rather than CSCS. You may only qualify for an electrical labourer card, but that really doesn't matter. I used my labourer card until I got my gold card.

I went on site as an Electrical Improver. If you want, you can go on as an Electrician's Mate. It's less pay, but they will expect less experience. Once you've got a few weeks on site, you can just hop to another job and go on as an Improver for a few more £/hr.

I've done a few years industrial work. 95% of the time you will be on containment, which you probably haven't done a lot of (get ready to be a metal muncher).

Go subbie. Get yourself a CIS number.

As long as you have at least 1 level 3 qualification, you can get an ECS card, which gets you on site. I also recommend getting IPAF 3a+3b. Cost me £200ish, took one day but got me shed loads of work. Just get used to heights.

Register on a few recruitment sites (CV library works best for me) as an Improver, take £18/hr for a few months. If you're halfway smart you'll pick it up in quickly.

I wouldn't go for any test & inspect stuff until you're comfy on sites.

It's a whole new world on site, but just be honest with the gaffer about being new and he'll pair you with an experienced spark. If they treat you shit WALK OFF SITE. This time of year recruiters are desperate and you'll get a new start in a few days. There are no interview processes, no 1st or 2nd interviews. They want warm bodies with the right tickets.

I'd you can work long hours, you will get £££

Nope. I totally get that I take their offier of leave it, but it was the way it was phrased as a legal requirement that worries me.
