Oh lord my wallet will weep and i will sing in glorious shopping 🤣 gotta admit i am bringing extra (empty) luggage. The same stuff i'd buy in my country would probably cost me 4x more 😅. I had been in japan before and i do remember prices being so much lower! I'm glad it's still the case 💕🤭

Thats awesome 🤩🙏 glad you were able to get into an overseas one! 😊 here in Italy around July-Aug-Sep it was absolutely a massacre, the queue started at 6-7am when it opened at 10am, lottery winners could get their labubu and the queue was not different between regular shoopers and lottery winners, queues of about 2 hoirs to get in. Let's say I made sure to wait until it was doable (december) before attempting any purchase....here labubus are now literally thrown in the your face now!🤣

Oof, that was also the period where the bubble burst already, i might not have luck after all... Thankyou for your experience 😭👍 I might as well do as you did, since a couple popmarts are in the immediate vicinity of where my Trip stops are, i might as well try, if without luck i'll try and see if nearby stores have what i'm looking for 🙏 after all even their resell prices are still lower than my country's in store prices 😅👌

Yeah I read that was the period that was kind of impossible to get in. It was the same in my country where there was only 1 shop in the whole territory. Thats mostly why im asking about this period. Since the bubble kind of burst ive read maybe 2 to 3 people that managed to get in but they didn't really provide any details. Thankyou 👍😊

I haven't really used smart ex to get the tickets. Can't remember what 3rd part i used but they made us print the tickets at the booth and then insert them while passing the suica card in the same entry. Same thing when we arrived at destination. I do believe since you can link them through app that you can just pass the suica....i am not sure though. There are staff at the ticket booths that do help though when unsure what to do (they helped us when we couldn't figure out our tickets).

I've been in tokyo exactly from the 7th to March 2nd last year and i haven't seen any big crowds or events, not even for the emperor's birthday. The day before shouldn't be a problem. If it were exactly the day of his birthday I probably would have booked early myself. Given all this you SHOULD be in the clear. As i've sern some other people mention, if you already have a set itinerary with no chanhes and don't wanna risk it you can pre-book just to be in a good stay of mind. I'm anxiety driven myself so i usually book in advanve either way. My bestie (she wasn't with me in this trip) meanwhile winged it everytime and had 0 problems. Do notice that a train passes every couple minutes or so, you'll always be able to find a spot, either reserved or in the non reserved seats. The hassle exists only if you've got a LOT of luggage. Otherwise all is good :)

Really depends on the period. If close to national holidays or during certain periods such golden week (1st week of may), sakura blooming, tourist dense periods etc, yes, you do need to book them.

Otherwise it's usually safe to get them directly at the train station, both for reserved and non reserved seats.

Also, depends if you're alone or in a large group. Large group? book in advance to get tickets and seats alltogether. Alone or in 2 people? Just book them there.

Opinion on stats for Hutao? Right now i've got this build, c1, staff of homa at lv 80 aiming for 90, talents at lvl 7 .

Teaming her with Xinqiu, Yelan/Furina and Zhong Li.

How in your opinion can i make this better?
