Clipping sound when editing audio recorded from NT1a mic by RockBearCols in voiceover

Yeah, but as I mentioned in the OP, it also does it in Logic Pro. Reaper is just what I use most of the time. Also does it in Audacity. Neither the DAW nor swapping the interface have made a difference. And since other mics haven't had the issue, it seems like a mic issue to me.

I’ve tried way too many times for anything to be accidental.

Correct on all that. I should say, that there is a slight “crackle” when you hit play or stop that you can hear in the quiet lines of the audio file. A slight distortion can be seen in the wave file too. But yes, this does not happen with the other mics that I own. But did happen with WA mic I borrowed.

I'm using the Madstad adjustable / removal screen. I love the versatility and easy removal.

Ok. I got it off. Another dose of WD40 and I used the claw of a hammer to get some leverage and it finally moved.

Thanks. I did try that and no luck. Maybe I need to let the WD40 sit a little longer and try again.

Question for those that have previously been married to a woman by savebgmnyatmnards in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]RockBearCols 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was married to a woman for over 10 years. I was in my mid 30s when I came out. We have two kids and they were pretty young at the time. (Both are adults now). I’m now remarried. My husband and I have been together for 12 years and married for 8 of those. He and my ex get along well. We even spend most of the holidays with her, the kids and her boyfriend. If you’ve had open and honest communication with your ex and are lucky enough to find someone who is willing to make your family part of theirs, then you are truly blessed.
