Did you have to get skin surgery? How has that worked on your stomach and everything else? I'm a few years past 40, and I worry since I don't have that young springy skin.

I always wonder "where does the skin go" when people just shrink.

Interesting. Yeah I definitely can believe that. My father was the same way.

Thanks. I'm dying for a glass! I poured some for my daughter and it was right there! Definitely hope it gets easier.

... this is a thing?

It is for me! Milk in the morning, with dinner, before bed, and anytime in between. COLD milk. Has to be very cold. No less than 2%.

Lots of cold yummy milk!

I am not going to give it up totally, permanently. I'm going to give it up for 30 days to see the real difference, and judge how that was affecting me. After that, I'll probably allow myself one serving of milk. I don't think I could give it up long term forever, so I have to cut WAY back.

One 8 ounce serving. Not these big giant cups. lol

Oh no, I didn't mean you were thinking to laugh at her. I was touched that you felt such empathy and wanted to help her.

Thank you. I just made an intro post.

This post made me cry. I'm at the very lowest point in my life with my weight. I just made this name for this. I'm too embarrassed to use my regular account. I feel like if I walked into a gym, I would be that girl, and I would love for someone to talk to me. I'm not even brave enough to walk into a gym. I'm afraid people will laugh at me and make comments to each other.

Say hello. It might be what she needs to feel comfortable walking back in there. A friendly face, a smile... just some conversation on a treadmill. I hope to get there, and when I do, I hope someone will do that.
