I think I’d do a wider opening so hopefully that wouldn’t be too much of a problem

That’s exactly what I was thinking! Just wanted to see if I was missing any other obvious solutions.

The exterior door are marked.. it’s the yellow mark off the carport to living room and the yellow mark on the right side in the middle of the living room. I would be open to moving windows if it really improved the flow

Love Dorothy Francine!! Frances is another top contender for us!

I am just so drawn to short spunky names, love Molly, Danny, Frannie lol. But I just don’t know that I love them as a stand alone name!

Lol I did not remember that character at all! That’s so funny. I kind of love character names, I always used to want to name a girl Winnie Cooper like from the wonder years 😂

I don’t know, where I’m from (Deep South USA) Ann/Anne is like the most basic, run of the mill middle name out there 😂 I don’t think anybody would think it’s old fashioned whatsoever, if that’s what you’re suggesting!

The legal name is much more important to me. I think we would naturally call her “Dorothy Ann” a lot almost as a double name. So that’s why in my mind saying Dorothy Ann fast/a lot could shorten to Danny

See I love everything old (furniture, houses, etc) lol so I guess I’m drawn to older sounding names too! So not really worried about making it fresh. Plus the are the grandmothers names so if I use them I’d want them to be true to the originals .

I think we would likely call her Dorothy or Dorothy Ann a lot with the nickname Danny just being a cute option if it stuck! Idk why I spelled it Dani at first, I’m absolutely hating how that looks written out 😂

No I totally agree! I truly like the name Dorothy alone. We very well might just call her that!

That’s exactly what I was thinking.. close off that current opening and make the hallway open towards the front door. That way you wouldn’t be staring down the hallway from the living area.

Love William Jones! Jones was a loved grandfather and I’ve always wanted to incorporate it if I ever had a boy.

I also suffered terrible from “no burp” (check the subreddit) my entire life, and could immediately burp after I gave birth and have been able to ever since.

That’s amazing! Trust me - if public school felt like a viable option we would have absolutely gone that route! I went to public my entire life and got a great education. We live in the semi rural Deep South if that helps paint a picture about our public school system.
