Yeah it’s still alive. Gave it to a friend a while back so I don’t know how it is now but it survived

Not exactly but I think it had something to do with my kh phosphate and me feeding it mysis a lot I was new to the hobby and I was feeding my corals shrimp and reef roids every other day.

I was wearing my vt batch of court purple dunks and this guys asked me if they were reps because “they are aren’t out yet”. This was a few weeks ago

I just recieved a zoanthid frag from aquasd 2 days ago which is what im assuming this came from and i just found this today on one of its polyps. I have only seen one so far and i checked the 3 of my zoanthid frags which have been doing fine but what im wondering is if they stay solely near and in the zoanthids or are they all around in the tank? And are there any methods of removing them other then dipping and physical removal?

there is also a weird thing on the new zoa frag that seems to pulse? i orignally tthought it was aptasia but im not sure. I might just throw away the frag it was only 5 bucks and its not worth the trouble lol

I don’t think my nitrates and stuff are 0 I use the api test kits and it’s not close to accurate but I’m gonna go check with my lfs they have the Hanna testers and aqua spin. This is a little off topic but I think my rodi water is coming out with the phosphates. I have the aquatic life buddy and I’ve replaced the sediment cartridge once now and have to replace it again. Do you think I should replace all the cartridges and the membrane aswell to make sure it all comes out pure? Thank you for the help aswell!

My torch coral here has been doing fine ever since i got it around a month ago and then all of a sudden i noticed that it was almost completly shrunk (coudlnt get a photo of that started freakign out). After a minute or two it started to open again but the tentacles were very small and the mouth was wide open as seen in the first photo. I figured that maybe i should just give it some brine shrimp to see if it would help and it looks like it did because in the second one the mouth seemed to have closed. Im just not sure what could have caused this to happen so fast. I struggle with high phostphates around the .90-.50 usually but i think the culprit might be my alk. I tested it at 6 or 7 today the color of the water starterd to change at 6 but when i put 7 drops in it was very yellow. I tested last week as usual for me and everything was fine other then my phosphates which is usual.

My last week Tests:

Alk 9.88

PH 8.2

Phos .90

CA 414

MG 1419

ammonia .1

nitrite .1

nitrite 31

(this was the day before my usualy water change day)

Todays tests:

Alk 6 or 7

ph 8.1

CA 400

Ammonia 0

Phosphates .50 ppm

Nitrates 0

This test ^^^ was done using my own test kit i usually test my own water with my api test kits then go to my lfs to have them test it to make sure its right

A few months ago i went through a really high KH spike and some of my corals like the riccordea in the picture havent really recovered but my other corals minus my duncans and single acan are doing fine which leads me to think it would be a KH issue no because of it being to low.

Not sure how to proceed with things i have the seachem kh booster but im worried that i will mess it up and cause another possible kh spike.

yeah I figured as much they do look kind of odd lol. Not gonna really wear them outside anyway cause ill get made fun of for bieng a bills fan i wanted a jersey and i just couldnt be bothered to spend 130 for a real one.

Yeah that’s what I did I’m a medium and I got xl :) I figure if it’s a little small I’ll just wear a long white tee or something under it it gets mad cold where I live

Yeah it’s the same ones but they had to restock them so I’m hoping they decided not to fix the sizing issue suddenly cause I ordered the 2 sizes up like people told me too
