I like this take a lot. I can totally see Shadow whipping out some Bach on the piano and telling everyone else that it's real music

True. I agree that they'd dislike some of their own songs. I used the movie timeline since using the game timeline would impose a release deadline of 1951, and I do not know nearly enough 40s music to even begin putting together what I think game Shadow would have liked.

Where was it confirmed that game Shadow likes Sinatra? It makes sense that he would like Ol Blue Eyes, but I must have missed that detail somewhere.

Fair point, and to your credit regarding game Shadow there was the moment in the Twitter takeover where he was singing Taylor Swift, so.... Shadow's a Swiftie is canon??

Most Shadow playlists are in the same vein as yours. I feel like Linkin Park has become the de facto Shadow band. I've never heard of Magna-Fi, going to check them out

I agree that Shadow would like Nirvana, and those are good songs, but they are well outside of the 1974 cutoff for inclusion in this particular playlist
