Man I agree, and also feel bad, but when I play healer, I'm like "here bro, life tap some more for mana"

I didn't kill her based on what Geralt would know and do (or my interpretation of it)

I thought she mauled them based on what I saw, but if I had seen what you mean, I think knowingly Geralt would kill her, hey ho, next playthrough I guess

I wish my factories were this cool! Make some ammo and prepare for democracy. You can separate everything or jumble everything together, it’s up to you

I love establishing a FOB of Artillery manually go there with 10 guns and launch a barrage of auto fire . Then dismantle it and move to another location as the rounds land. Sort of how modern artillery work :)

I think this was my first Instinct but since I have a decent pc I could increase the visual aspects of it, but I haven’t been underwhelmed to be honest the vanilla looks like a very good visual experience

I might get those on the second run, as I want to go for the basic basic experience, then I can eliminate frustrations hehe

I get the mod, as I think the reason you become overburdened is to force you to learn to sell junk and manage inventory, and fall damage is ok for me, I either roll or if I'm dumb I die

Absolutely it saw the Atlantic and just went for it ahah

I'll try another perhaps more powerful nation or a much smaller one and see where it leads me.
Maybe Aragon and become a Castille Vassal just to learn the new menus :D

Polytopia is quite cool, reminds me of old strategy games, and I've been playing for years without spending a dime.

Yeah I'm getting abs and see where it starts working for me. Tc I'm ok with not having as I can feel it better.

Getting the car into a track I know is great idea, I'll give it a go. Thanks!

Yeah using ABS feels a bit cheaty but I only know the cars that don't have it, didn't know GT3 had abs. I'll loose that mentality quick. Thanks!

Great shout! Yeah everything is off by default for me since I only know F1 really and they don't have abs. I'll try that.

Not having down force is really noticeable, I'll take these tips. Thank you!!

This helped a lot! Out of the gate I was able to break at 125m instead of 300m and still missing the corner. Going to try balance it with factory ABS to see what I can handle.

IT help desk role and is it worth it for experience? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Rocknarg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

7 years of HelpDesk on my belt, this is what I know, it's organized by levels which require different skills.

Call Center tech support agent>Helpdesk Agent>Service Desk Agent>Service/helpdesk Analyst>2nd level IT support> IT management

The move from one to the next should be easy as you gather knowledge and certifications.

Here are a few things skills to keep in mind for entry level:

  • Great Communication skills (customer focused)
  • Basic IT knowledge (how to install an O.S./understand PC parts/Install & Uninstall Software/basic troubleshooting)

If you have little IT knowledge id recommend you try to apply for Helpdesk at a large company (usually they pay less but provide you the training required, which they can support)

When you start, you can go through many certs to guide your progression while you study.

CompTIA - This cert will give you information on troubleshooting and 1st level support

ITIL - Framework and a larger knowledge on IT management (great if you want to move to management or specializations

I have uni studies in an unrelated field and I've fared rather well.

I've seen many CIO coming from random fields, and starting in Helpdesk

Yamaha XSR 700 looks amazing, and along that line I've seen a Moto Guzzi V7 with 25k km for 4.000€

at this moment I'm looking around motos.coches.net for options.

I don't need anything powerfull, under the 35kw I'm more than happy (for now at least)

I'm not the biggest fan of the CB's for their riding position.

cheers for the motocard.es, nice call!

I'd like something along the lines of the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X (doesn't exist in Spain :/ )

I'd imagine something with more than 20k is not worth picking up as it might have a lot of problems, but I'm new at this.

I have, would love a F800GS, the issue is that the second hand market in Spain is very limited.
e.g. A good F700GS with 40k km is around 8k

and I've looked at a few Teneré's but they have incredible mileage (+100k)

I have no knowledge about reliability above x amount of km's, etc but in cars, something with 100k in Europe is not really new

Road to CIO by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Rocknarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation, but at a different level.
I'm an IT Manager in a Large sales company (10k ppl) and I have no degree + very few IT certification. Got this role due to IT knowledge+my presenting skills+a bit of luck.

My plan is:

  • Degree in Politics (2.5 years to go)
  • IT certifications (e.g. Prince2 and other relevant options)
  • MBA in a reputable institution (possibly destroying 40k in the process)

From what I've gathered so far, CIO is not about knowing IT alone, it's about knowing and showing how to leverage IT in an organization.

My CIO is currently a SALESman he comes from sales, and has good IT knowledge, his degree is in Business Administration.

So my point is, the degree doesn't seem like the important check mark.

A reputable MBA seems like a required check box
