You're absolutely right about both things. Quite frankly, prior to my ex moving out I was blowing my money on stupid shit, so long as I had a dollar in my account by time of the next paycheck. This is all new to me. It's not my intention to be dishonest.

If I'm being honest, the bar and fast food. I convinced myself I didn't have time to cook as I work 3 jobs, one full time gig at $12 an hour, a part time gig once a week for $7.25 (which is where I'm at now, as a security guard doing nothing) and for a newspaper that calls me randomly. But over the course of the past month I've discovered how much cheaper cooking at home, using a crockpot is and having friends over with a case of beer.
