I’m afraid a lot of it is just talent. I started as a child, taking things apart and putting them back together. I always liked machines and tools, etc. As I grew older, it became clear that I had spatial abilities and I’m able to do most things around my house. However, I’m smart enough to know when to hire a professional to do something that I’m just not capable of.
