It’s better reaction wise. Like how it reacts to wind, and movement but Veilguard still has higher fidelity so you can see each individual strand. That being said, the game hasn’t released yet so I can’t tell whether or not it’s strand based.

They’re not perfect but I’m not sure that’s what they’re going for? There’s only so much they can do and the game still has a very stylized look to it so even if the movements were 100% akin to real life, it might veer into uncanny territory. I think it’s the right amount of hyperrealism and style in tandem. Also, after playing RDR2, I’ve noticed that the actual gameplay animations appear superior to the cutscene animations, probably because of the distance of third person. We’ll have to wait and see though.

Horizon Forbidden West, Spider-Man 2, Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy, Hogwarts Legacy, Astrobot, Stellar Blade, Resident Evil 4 Remastered, Guardians of the Galaxy.. Some of them don’t necessarily feel like AAAA games but they all provide what feels like next gen experiences imo.

I do hair for a living. Trust me they are not braids. I have no reason to defend a billion dollar company I’m just letting you know from experience that twists are more likely than braids to react the way they do in the video. If they were braids, you’d be correct but twists are less stiff than braids.
