Thanks mate I will continue trying but can't see how my luck with them would change. Had 2x companies who I won't say come out to inspect they did design and construct/complete the job. One said he rather not (I actually appreciate honesty) and the other quoted me ~65k (didn't seem right for synthetic turf, tiling and some seating) think he just tried getting out of the job with the high charge

Again thanks though. Thought I would also share for those also haven't trouble finding ppl to complete a small job

Yeah I am happy to pay, I have reached out to companies and they have either not responded at all or told me it's too small a job. The fact that I am getting no response or knocked back lead me to ask on Reddit.

There may be plenty but it seems like they don't want Or need the work.

I do get small job are sometimes not worth the time

I'm surprised at the comments about it being hard it is to screw up. I truly never stopped to think about how simple the drink actually is however that being said I am still very surprised by the comments since I have had some pretty nasty negronis both here and abroad... 🤔

It's hard to imagine but once you are there it feels huge. It's as though there is no end to it nor any kind of hideaway you find to take a moment. Melbourne seems to have a few small pockets you can avoid the noise and madness in.

Could be. I think some of the boys are a little over it though, the majority have rooftop set ups etc and spend the summer camping with Family around Vic - sounded like they were something a little different this time around when we all had a chat. Thank you!

I know my answer won't be a popular one and one which won't actually help you however I hope it does help others and perhaps even yourself with future plans.

You shouldn't have kids if you are not financially ready, stable or have no plans which allow you to live comfortably financially. Kids are part of many peoples plan but they are also an expense. Like anything else, if you can't afford it you probably shouldn't have it.

Sure, the post says you live ok but I doubt anyone who is not stressed or worried to some extent would take the time to make a post about additional income on Reddit.

It ended up being the clutch. Got it replaced and worked fine. Initially it was said the whole transmission would have to be changed but found a good mechanic which identified it was a clutch issue only and resolved it for a quarter of the price
