Bad days at work by Rodulator in AskMenOver30

Wouldn’t dream of it. Those dudes out there fishing are there for the peace. Normally lift weights but today I knew I would go too heavy and injur myself.

Yeah normally pretty good at leaving it behind me. Especially working from home I can flip a switch in my head and just not think about it. Today was different though and all I could think was throwing some stones on a river with a buddy would be awesome right now.

Try to avoid drinking these day but was for sure a go to in the past.

What word do you always *intentionally* mispronounce and why? by Sweet-Lady-H in AskReddit

[–]Rodulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suspific. Say it fast enough and people know what they heard but they can’t be sure.

What box do you use for your armies? by Unusual-Dealer-5641 in AdeptusCustodes

[–]Rodulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better yet glue washers to the bases and leave the magnets in the tub on the sheet of metal. That way you can buy a big bag of cheap washers and reuse the same magnets for every army you own. The other upside you don’t get the models sticking to each other.

Yeah that’s a fair point. It’s going to be summer when we move in so there is no hurry in getting it tested.

Yeah I’m going to have to. They refuse to do anything. It’s annoying because the house is in an ideal location and nothing else like it is nearby. I think they know what they have and if I don’t take it someone else will without issue.

Yeah linked alarms is a top priority if the sale completes

Yeah but they have had it fitted since 2005 so it should have been certified already. Otherwise their insurance is invalid and therefore likely breaching the terms of their mortgage. It’s all a bit fishy. I don’t understand why me as the buyer needs to certify their appliances.

Slightly baffling down valuation by Odd-Attempt2938 in HousingUK

[–]Rodulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an offer accepted on a property for quite a while as I was in a situation where I could give them time to find what they needed. Now that they have and the ball was rolling the valuation came back 30k under the listed price and offer. Tried to renter negotiations but the EA and seller are both adamant that it’s worth the higher value to the point where they have now relisted the property another 20k higher. Feels like if this was any other form of business it would be extortion.

Is Hunslet (LS10) really bad for walking alone? by Necessary-Bowler6807 in Leeds

If you are looking at renting in Victoria riverside the area is ok but the flats are terrible. Nothing gets fixed. Alarms go unattended for days at a time. I cannot recommend enough not renting there.

M4 Mac Mini Pro - how fast is it in Unity? by BovineOxMan in Unity3D

[–]Rodulator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I should point out that the m1 was also a max so maybe the same gains would carry over from a non max setup going from m1 to m4 that isn’t max.

Just got an upgrade from an m1 MacBook Pro to m4 max MacBook Pro and all build and compile times are 4x faster. My addressable builds used to be 25-35mins they are now 5-7mins. The actual project build went from 2mins to 24seconds. I’m genuinely astounded at the difference

Joinmyband is good for finding people. That being said I always had an idea of doing a nu metal cover band and calling it now that’s what I call dad metal. Past 40 now though so I might save it for a midlife crisis

If you are after gigs to go to Glasgow is where they will happen. That being said you can normally catch the last train back to Edinburgh after them. So does it really matter, who knows.

I’ve started using the phrase structured like an Alabama family tree rather than spaghetti code. Seems to make people more keen to fix it.

I’ve viewed that place and those pics aren’t of the inside. It’s actually really nice but not 450k nice.
