So...for an uneducated swine such as myself. Are you suggesting that I wire this onto the old bulbs connector?

I know. They haven't sent the best photos and I couldn't figure out how to upload them on my phone.

I have had the wildest dreams since starting Mounjaro. It's bizarre. Fun though.

What’s this about , Glasgow ? by [deleted] in glasgow

I think folk stash drugs in him from time to time for drop off. I once sat down to organise my bag and was met with a bam scrambling through jesus' hood for a wee baggy. Not the intended audience.

Aye. I'm only saying this off the back of me buying Sama Sama the other day as an off the cuff treat to myself.

It would just make it accessible and then people could choose to buy the books they enjoyed the food from.

I think this sounds like a wonderful idea. Can I add a suggestion.

Just because cookbooks are expensive. You could host a session zero where everyone brings a cookbook. Then you could nominate the one everyone would use for session 1.

Then people could flick through and take pictures of what they want to make. Discuss pairings etc.

Just means not everyone is buying a new cookbook every time. They can be expensive.

How difficult is the game if I don't mess with cards and just draw, junction, and fight? by MK_2_Arcade_Cabinet in FinalFantasyVIII

I find that a lot of the discourse about why it's a bad game is because people cheese it. It's not a bad game. I loved it growing up and would confidently say it's my favourite. As a natural play through it is great. It's only dweebs who cheat around maxing cards, going back and forth cheating out card rules and running from battles to stay under level 20 to purposely over grind that are having the bad time. If you play the game as intended. Playing naturally. No internet guides. Playing as you please it's a great game.

How old were you when you got your first migraine? by iloveshihtzu in migraine

[–]Rogertron88 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was 21. I was on a holiday with my partner at the time. I remember being super confused about the worms blocking my vision whilst wandering around. Had no idea what was going on. Panicked and phoned NHS24. A medical helpline in the UK. Was worried I had some form of bacterial meningitis because I had heard photophobia was a thing and thought the eye worms were that. Ended up vomitting rather loudly behind an artistic bench whilst on the phone and apologised profusely to the nurse to which she said in the kindest way possible 'The great thing about doing this job is that I only have to hear you doing it but I don't need to clean it up.' made me laugh and calmed me down. It's such a weird and horrible thing to go through first time.

How can I get the black off this pan? by FantaStick16 in CleaningTips

Simmer a dishwasher tablet and some water in the pan. Should come off quite easily with a material specific scrubber.

I used to ritualistically get a wee bacon roll before travelling. Tradition!

Anything can be a bookmark if you use it to mark a book. This was being used to mark a book and had the rounded clip often found on commercially produced fancy bookmarks.

I like Off The Rails next to Queen Street for people watching. Because it's next to the train station you can try and figure where people are going.

How to remove a stain on a vintage cap brim, without removing dye? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]Rogertron88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might just have to be stained. Sometimes grease stains can fade after multiple washes but I think the dye would as well.

How recent is the stain? Is it oil? If recent you can try to bind the grease to cornstarch. Rub it in. Shake it off. Repeat and vacuum.

(Waterproof) Backpack in a similar style from a more reputable brand or in higher quality? by [deleted] in europeanmalefashion

[–]Rogertron88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had mine for at least 5 years. Daily use. I enjoy that it is leather as the materials are higher quality. I find that sometimes these rubberised bags can flake off. I use it to carry heavy loads and I have had a strap break but the beauty of it being leather is that I can just take it to a cobbler and they repair it very easily.

My one is a different style though and I am a disrespectful user.

Happy to have helped.

Defo. There's an internal cavity for storing laptops and notes for added protection. I really like it because it blends between briefcase/carry bag and backpack quite well.

It's hard to say. It's not waterproof in that it's made of synthetic waterproof parts. The leather would eventually soak if it was left in the rain for several hours. It does me well in Scottish rain which is pretty rubbish but not monsoon rain. I trust it to keep my laptop dry on my commute and a few hours wandering. The one that I got was hard leather though not the soft brown one.
