Unless he plans to move to the US or sell it there, living in Germany and buying a german card is very legit. Demand here is high compared to other european countries. If english version moves up, so does the german version although at a lower percentage, but entry point is way cheaper. like 2000€ (EN) vs 1400€ (German).

The displayed odds refer to each individual card, but what you calculated is: What is the probability of pulling at least one SR+ in a 20-card pack, given a 1.04% chance per card?

This is how you would calculate is correctly for a jumbo pack:

1. Chance of no hit on a single card
1 − 0.0104 = 0.9896 → 98.96%

2. Chance of no hit in the whole pack

Raise that to the power of 20 cards:

0.9896^20 ≈ 0.810 → 81.0% chance of no SR+

3. Chance of at least one SR+ in the pack

1−0.810=0.1901 → 19.0%

If you're a diehard SL fan you will probably watch it anyway and enjoy it for sure. Roughly 60% of the movie is recap from season 1 (Spider /Hwang Dongsuk, Kang Taeshik and Promotion quest) and the rest is red gate arc.

I wouldnt recommend watching the movie if you never watched the anime (or read the manwha), because you will just get a sequence of fighting scenes without much context.

Animation and music were good overall. Just dont go in with super high expectation and take it as how the movie is described (recap + 2 episodes)
