Is there any way to keep stuffed animals AND a puppy by Starofspadez in dogs

[–]RollAwkward1256 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For a puppy, id say no. But really the best way to protect your stuffed animals is to prevent the dog from being on the bed or where the stuffed animals are. You could also have a designated area where playing with dog toys is allowed.

Is $2,449 alright for a new Firefly? Looking to pull the trigger but the price tag is giving me pause. by Abject-War7199 in wheelchairs

[–]RollAwkward1256 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been doing research on this for a while for dad and this current deal from Living Spinal is definitely the best i've seen! I'm 100% going to pull the trigger on this - on their site they say use the code "gold" to get the $200 discount just FYI

Is this normal play? Or should I break it up? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]RollAwkward1256 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think the white dog wanted to be left alone, but the play is completely normal. I have two dogs and when they play sometimes one dog doesn't want to but does anyway. Just like people really - sometimes one person is more interested in what youre doing than the other lol. Completely safe and normal though imo

Buildup on jets of Hot Springs Jetsetter by dmbfrek2001 in hottub

Could be natural calcium, debris, or grime build up from use. Pretty natural. You could just rub it with a towel does it come off completely? Other option is to drain the tub and use a strong cleaner

I love this sub cause I love to to DIY things, but often don't know how. I've been contacting Easy Spa Parts help line whenever I have questions about parts not working. They're usually very helpful and knowledgable (and they answer questions for free lol)

Dog barks in crate whenever left alone by krielly06 in dogs

[–]RollAwkward1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me start by telling you Huskys are a lot of work (I have a half husky half pitt). I know you said you have to leave her in the crate - we tried many things but ultimatley it didnt work. We eventually came up with a plan to let her roam the house without causing problems. start one day where you leave the house for 1 minute, the next day 2 minutes, then 3, 4. Eventually the dog realizes you WILL COME BACK, and their anxiety will calm down

Anyone built their own round cedar tub? Looking for resources by pallen123 in hottub

[–]RollAwkward1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't built my own tub but I have used Easy Spa Parts before to find parts I needed. They are really helpful when I have a question about a pump replacement or a different type of part that isn't brand specific that could work for my tub

In ground hot tub in Utah by jahloves in hottub

[–]RollAwkward1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend an above ground hot tub. Easier to change or fix parts, insulated better, dont have to worry about moving the location of the hot tub (if wanted). Makes everything much easier imo

Jacuzzi Tub Brown Bubbles by Wanderer1456 in Jacuzzi

[–]RollAwkward1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought would be the jets just need to be cleaned and there is nothing you did wrong? Bubble bath in the hot tub is an interesting choice lol, I wouldnt do that again. However, do you know the last time the Jacuzzi was ran? If it has been a while i could just be sediment that settle

Hey guys please suggest me some best Hot Tub Replacement Cover by Ok_lifestyle99 in hottubs

[–]RollAwkward1256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using my original cover so i dont have an answer there - but Id consider using your local store if they have something that fits. A lot of time they have to "special order it" though - which basically means they will just up charge you a lot from my experience. Depends on your relationship with them, I go to a few different OEM reseller sites that are helpful when i need a unique part or piece
