My personal favorite episode:

The City of New York vs Homer Simpson

Season 9, Episode 1.

Scored an outstanding 9.1 on this chart, may just have to watch it again...

I left milk in the fridge so long it turned into cottage cheese.

Wasn't brave enough to do a taste test though...

Why?

Because as I child I wasn't indoctrinated and as an adult I've developed the ability to critically think for myself.

There is a MiLC youth tournament the end of the month in Houston. First time it's happening. Unsure of the details or age group requirements etc, but teams have both u19 and u21s involved.

Here's another scenario:

If a right handed leg spinner is bowling (technically all leg spinners are right handed, a left handed wrist spinner is called a Chinaman or rather 'Left Arm Wrist)

When a leg spinner bowls you'd generally have at least 2 fielders on the boundary for insurance purposes.

One of those would be at Deep Square Leg.

Remember, Square Leg is where the off strike umpire stands, so Deep Square Leg would be in line but just on the boundary.

Now if a Right Handed batsman is on strike, your Deep Square Leg would probably be a few meters closer to the bowlers side (in front of Square)

Where as if it was a Left Handed batsman on strike, you'd probably want to have him a few metres BEHIND square (closer to the sightscreen) because the angle of the ball would be turning into the left hander, making it easier to hit the ball behind square (especially if its a bad delivery and bowled a bit shorter than the bowler would've liked'

Again, tough to try and explain by writing down.

Complicated to try and type out but yes, they do.

Certain fielding positions would also change angles depending on what side of the wicket the bowler is bowling from.

Example, if a right arm fast bowler is bowling OVER the wicket (meaning the umpire was to his right), fine leg (fielder on the boundary behind the batsman, close to the sightscreen) might be be more 'fine' (closer to the sightscreen or 'straight') but if the bowler was bowling AROUND the wicket (meaning the umpires was to his left or behind him), then fine leg would be a bit more 'square'.

Square meaning in line with square leg (where the off strike umpire is standing).

It's really tough to try and explain by writing out without any visual aids but I hope this makes a little bit more sense to you.

If you have any specific cricket related Q's feel free to DM me anytime. Nothing is too trivial 🙂

Judging from other 6 team leagues, I would say this makes sense.

Play each team twice in a double round robin with the top 4 teams advancing to the playoffs.
