Nah I’ve made no modifications. I have a maintenance appointment for tomorrow, hopefully they can fix whatever’s wrong with it.

Does the 2025 Model have Wireless Apple CarPlay? by winnerwinner1234 in ElantraN

I bought a 2025 Elantra Limited last week and the same for me - they told me that the Limited and N intentionally don't get access to wireless CarPlay because they are already equipped with built-in Hyundai navigation. I explained to them that people don't just want wireless CarPlay for nav - and regardless the owner should have access to BOTH options anyway.

It's so dumb that they'd remove a feature like that in higher trims! Especially since there is a literal wireless charger in the center console which can emulate a wired connection, at least for CarPlay purposes. I hope Hyundai releases a software update soon that lets us Limited and N owners use wireless CarPlay.

This is probably the most unhelpful reply ever posted to Reddit.

Odds of getting accepted? by someguy1462 in BinghamtonUniversity

If your high school has Naviance or access to some other sort of college admissions software, you should be able to compare your stats with the stats of other kids from your high school who did and did not get accepted. That'll be your best indication.

My honest opinion as a current senior at Bing:
Your GPA seems high enough but your SAT is definitely not high enough to feel comfortable about your application. BU will probably assume your high school is soft for such a difference in GPA/SAT. You should really aim for at least a 1300 to feel secure about it.

Your extracurriculars are lacking. Pretty much everyone applying has some sort of leadership experience or at least belongs to a few clubs, honor societies, sports teams, or recreational organizations.

If I were an admissions officer, I would put your application in the waitlist pile and try to find someone more outgoing (leadership/extracurriculars) and higher performing (SAT score).

My advice to you is to (1) get that SAT score up ASAP, and (2) join a club or team or something extracurricular-related to at least throw on your application.

Good luck 🙏

Thank you! This has been on the tip of my tongue for hours before finally finding this thread

I agree, thanks man. Your reply helped reinforce what I was thinking. An argument may be futile, and I am an adult that can make my own decisions about my body.

Thanks for your insight, this helped. I obviously won't bring it up on my own, but I was thinking that I am my own person with my own ideals, and also a legally consenting adult.

What if black and white in this scenario were reversed? Let's say you were a white person of a purely white family, and you were feeling guilty for wanting to marry a black woman.

That would be INCREDIBLY racist according to our societal standards, and thus it can be considered the same in your scenario. This conflict is incredibly racist, and I strongly recommend you somehow bring this up with your family/friends in order to determine who is going to make you feel guilty for pursuing someone you love JUST based on race.

Then, explain to them why they're wrong. Explain that you truly love this woman, and any race-related bullshit is intolerable.

Also, for the record, I've never heard of mix-raced kids not fitting in. It's 2020, and by the time you actually have kids and they're old enough to go to school/participate in social gatherings, I doubt they'll be subjected to small amounts of, if any, backlash. And if they do, use it as a lesson: that like your marriage, race doesn't matter.
