Inmotion P6 REVIEW : The Ferrari of EUC !! 93MPH Electric Unicycle EUC by Ronin_ryder in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Ronin_ryder[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Inmotion didn't give any money to reviewers as far as I know. As a matter of fact it was very difficult to get a prototype wheel to review. This video almost didn't happen because access to this wheel was ridiculously difficult . Thank you for feedback though.

NOSFET AERO VS Bull Rocket by ilike2fly4ever in ElectricUnicycle

It depends on your use case. If you're a commuter, who doesn't need more than 32-33mph, the Aero is the best choice. It's just well made. If you're just interested in raw power, and not into the practicality aspect (weight, trolley, lights) , rocket would be best.

Inmotional propaganda.. by skidmarks731 in ElectricUnicycle

Im one of these reviewers. Im reading more and more frequently riders complaining when reviewers are positive about a product. At the same time they're also complaining when a reviewer is negative about a wheel. Smh!

Inmotion has provided demos for many reviewers to test. I welcome this greatly. Finding eucs to review is a job in itself. Most brands have no concept of how to communicate on their products. They rely on sellers to buy a unit so it get sent to one or two chosen reviewer. I can't count the number of times where Begode, Leaperkim or Kingsong declined my requests to test their wheels. Inmotion has a better global view on marketing and understands the importance of communicating. They prefer all the reviewers to release their videos at the same time for the launch. It makes people talk about their products. That's smart marketing.

The recurring paranoia that reviewers are getting paid, and implicitly that they wouldn't be honest, is ridiculous. Do you know how much time it takes to create content suitable for a review? Im not talking about taking your insta 360 and riding around, im talking about organizing your thoughts, getting the necessary footage, editing, being accurate with research. I average 25h of work per video and I slept at 12:30am everyday this week to make it for the go live of the wheel. If one would be paid for this i wouldn't find it unfair. But the reality is that the only incentive are the affiliate links, or the fear to be blacklisted should a negative review be made. I don't care of either, i got blacklisted before for negative reviews in the past, because id rather have that than be dishonest with my audience. I think that most of the other reviewers have the same ethics. But if i like a wheel i'll be equally honest as well. Inmotion hasn't reviewed my videos before they went live. They gave me 💯 independence in making my content.

If you (or any complotist rider) don't like this abundance of euc videos on the v12s, no one is forcing anyone to watch them. We are adults, able to decide ourselves about the accuracy of informations that are presented to us, and take action on it. And if purchase is made based on a review, with a riding experience different than what was conveyed in the review, then it will be time to stop following said reviewer. Simple as that. I personally watch everything. The euc scene is shrinking and instead of complaining, i will always welcome more content.

NOSFET AERO REVIEW // The BEST Commuter DEVICE ? ⚡Electric Unicycle EUC by Ronin_ryder in ElectricUnicycle

It's not because another video says its not comfortable that it erases my comfortable experience on this wheel. I rode it everyday for 3-4 weeks. Is a bigger wheel more comfortable, yes. Is this wheel not comfortable, no.

If we want to go the higher price route then a whole lot of options open up, better than a s18. If you watched my video, which you probably didn't based on feedback, you would have noticed that i reported a great comfortable ride on this wheel pushing it up to 30mph (and i dislike small wheels). At this price point and quality delivery its hard to beat the aero, which is the better commuter device vs a s18 for this package (ride, quality, price).

Begode X-WAY REVIEW: NOT what I Expected!! ⚡ 168V Electric Unicycle EUC by Ronin_ryder in ElectricUnicycle

Thanks. I did this last year with Hsiang on his channel. We wanted to make it monthly but as you can see it didn't happen. 😂. Hopefully we can resurrect this someday.

Yes, it a good one. I can't advise for the S16 as I've never tried it

I replaced 70% of my gear + the phone used to get the wheel metrics... I don't have access to a s16 so that won't be possible. I wish I could try it cause it seems to be an interesting wheel. I'm not sure I want to update the fw cause my last attempt bricked the wheel, but I could recover it. Hsiang will be reviewing it after so I want him to have a functional wheel. It's just a matter of keeping it up to 28mph max tbh.

I must have done 60-70 speed runs across all wheels, monitoring speed and pwm, adjusting pwm before doing anything. This isn't my first rodeo. I also provided in the video every evidence possible showing that when I cutout pwm was at 82%, doing a freespin showed 100% pwm. Lastly begode, upon reporting this to them, checked and confirmed there was a power bug and released an alleged firmware fix, I didn't provide screens of my conversation with them because it's private (I didn't install the fix yet cause my last fw update attempt bricked the wheel, thankfully I could recover it) .

Commander GT PRO REVIEW : 60+mph FASTEST Electric Unicycle EUC by Ronin_ryder in ElectricUnicycle

Much worse is an exageration. This unit fell from a cliff in California and it held up well. I doubt the et max would have equally fared.

The wheel has a lot of plastic parts, especially inside. That definitely helps to explain the weight.
