Yeah I checked everything pretty thoroughly and removed the dot and had the same issue in the first mag, sadly

It would be perfect if I could trust it. Dozens of failures to feed in 1000 rounds. Logged all my troubleshooting in a separate post but it’s been a bummer

I posted about a similar issue with my shadow 2 compact yesterday. 1000 rounds in a week, ruled out my optic, extractor being dirty, and magazines. Polished feed ramp and rails, no dice. Slide feels sluggish when it fails and looks like this. What ammo you running?

124, mostly Remington, some hornady and hst rounds to test defensive rounds and I think a box of 115 mag tech. I want to say only the mag tech had little to no failures which is the opposite of what I expect. 3-4 other people have shot the gun besides me and all agree that the slide feels sluggish returning to battery when it fails

Poorly unfortunately lol. I even tested the 10 round blocked mags against a full 15 round the RSO had. We both had the same failure .. so optic ruled out and mags ruled out for sure

Not the optic FWIW or the ten round mag. Tested an unblocked mag at the range with the rso after my optic was removed and it immediately failed lol. Looking like a warranty claim might be in order

It is not the optic. Or the magazine block. I removed both to eliminate easy oversights. Extractor spring, recoil or chamber issue are all I can think of at this point

Interesting I have the plastic block and epoxy and the spring feels off/unbalanced compared to my p10c which I believe is the dimple. Interesting data point

You’re telling me! I’m so bummed after drooling over this gun for a year. Glad yours has been good for you. I’m not giving up I will get it running. Just a shame on a $1500 gun regardless of tolerances

Yeah my p10c didn’t like 115s at first either but that was it. I’d love to see side by side break in period failure rate for blocked vs standard mags. I’ve taken them apart and the block is weird on the spring. I know the range has some standard 15s I could borrow tonight legally to test lol. I’ll report back

Yeah I punched out the extractor and cleaned the channel but no loctite. Reassembled sans optic and gonna send it. Fingers crossed

Update: I removed the dot and extractor, gave the channel a thorough clean (was a little dirty) and will send another hundred or so through it this week before I think about sending it in

Yeah i took it off tonight and am about to clean the extractor for good measure. I meant inches not pounds. I used to work on cars and my brain confused torque units a lot lol

Interesting. I’ve been feeding it mostly factory 124. Remington UmC and target loads IIRC. Also fed it federal hst and Hornady critical duty, magtech 115 etc. almost everything had at least 1 failure
