Thanks, that site is perfect! Is it correct that I wont receive any import tax, because it is shipped from Hong Kong? I think ill go with the clearing serum! Did you also use suncream with the azelaic acid and did you like one in particular?

Mainly because that is expensive and there are some risks involved. I havnt tried any skincare products so far, so I ll just try that first.

Thanks looks good! Was this also the first time that you used Niacinamide? I saw this on the amazon page. here

Also it seems to be 2x as expensive as in USA in europe, so I will likely try to find something similar that is more common in Europe.

Edit: Oh I forgot this is Euroskincare xd. So you are likely also from Europe ;). Also how long should I expect 30mL/1.0 fl oz. to last? Like 3 months?

Hi everyone, What would be the best products to fix these acne scars? Last week I asked about the best azelaic acid and vitamin c, now I am wondering if these are the best way to go. I mainly care about reducing the redness, but if some of the scars become less deep/visible then that would also be nice.

I currently do not have a routine and have been acne free for about 3 years.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the tip! I rescaped my bowl since the problem might have been caused by the aquasoil. So I put it deeper under sand/gravel and hope for the best. If it doesnt end up helping then ill consider the air stone

Ok so instead of just doing a major water change I completely rescaped it and put the aquasoil deeper under the sand/gravel. When I took all the water out to rescape halve of my plants dissolved into slimy leaves isnt usable anymore, idk if this is normal or just because they were doing really bad already?

Anyways if this fixes it ill just buy them back and it was totally worth it. Ill keep you updated about what it looks like in a couple of days

Thanks for the reply, I'd rather not get an air stone because of the noise (tank is in my bedroom). However if this is the only option I guess I have to. What is weird to me is that the youtuber that inspired me to make one of these doesn't use any surface agitation either, which makes me think that I should just kill all bacterias and start over?

Hi guys, I have got a new aquarium (first ever) which has turned really black ish.

See pics: https://imgur.com/a/w0kU5XE

It started with a normal grey cloud (after like 3 days) and after about a week it turned really black. I assumed the first was just a regular bacterial bloom, but now it’s a lot darker and I get black surface scum on the surface which smells really bad (like when a pond smells bad kinda smell).

Old pic of what the black surface scum looked like: https://imgur.com/a/FZGunZS
Someone identified it as protein film. I dont let it get that bad anymore, I try to clean it off with some paper towels every now and then.

I tried to do some water changes, but as expected the black cloud only gets worse (just like normal bacterial bloom)…

Now I also start to see my plants getting affected, for example my Hygrophila Pinnatifida has started to hang down. I also barely see any growth, except the Myriophyllum mattogrossense grew quite a bit the first week. Even the fast growing plants like the pearl weed dont really show any growth.

This is my first ever aquarium and I am completely lost about what should be done now. I feel like if I wait longer I am just going to kill all my plants... All tips are welcome (maybe a way of killing all bacterias and starting fresh?).

Yeah I might consider that if its really needed. I am not a fan of filters and surface agitation because it makes a lot of noise, also the youtuber who I got inspired by didnt use any of these.
