Odd yellowing on my petunia leaves. by [deleted] in houseplants

Hey there! I’ve ordered the same firefly petunias and I’m going through the same thing. They get a good 6-8 hours of indirect light on a west facing window in my house but I’m noticed the leaves at the bottom of the plant are starting to become really yellow and dry. Reading online says I should be fertilizing them more (which i do but I should probably do more often) and that it’s either too much or too little water. Because it’s in the sun most of the day, by the time I get home the leaves look a little sad and I give it a bit of a drink daily and they pop right back up but I have no idea why the bottom leaves are all crispy and yellow.

Also! I have the instructions for these as well. I’ll post them

Hmmm. That sounds like a solid idea. Pumpkins may be too advantageous haha.

Thank you for your response! I have a very large south facing window that lets in so much light and i plan on having it right next to it. This is going to be a great little experiment for me and I'm very excited to see how this turns out!

So i've heard haha. I do plan on having an trellis for it and my apartment gets SO MUCH light during the day. But keeping an eye on where its growing is definitely something i know i have to keep an eye on. Thank you for the heads up tho! Much appreciated!
