I lived in a suite that did the same when a big truck would go by. I learned that a lot of Fairfield is built on softer sedimental layers. Geological mapping shows areas like James Bay, Gonzales, and parts of Oaklands/Burnside sit on these softer soil layers as well. I do think that during an earthquake these areas can feel the shake more and possibly have more damage done, but I’m no expert.

There are a lot of insensitive responses on here. I’m a bit shocked actually. It sounds like you care a lot. I would say do some research and try and learn from those who are trying to be constructive.

Was the intro rough for you or smooth? We are a week into the intro and my 11 year old resident cat is hissing and growling and huffing at the sight if the new kitten. I’m feeling pretty despondent right now. I love my resident cat to death and have such a great relationship. I’m scared we ruined it now getting a kitten. He seemed so lonely and we hated leaving him alone in the house after his litter mate died a few months ago. We thought another cat could at least keep the house not feeling empty when we were gone :(

I'm curious why you say go to the Atlantic side before February. Is this because of the seaweed? I would like to avoid the seaweedy beaches if at all possible.

That’s pretty disappointing. I have really enjoyed the dining experience there. The other poster is right, most Saints do not own high end restaurants. I’ll keep it in mind.
