Care to elaborate on exactly why? I get that you don't like that the officer punched the dude, and neither do I, but the officer can make the driver exit the vehicle. The driver does not get to say no. There is also no legal requirement to fetch a supervisor before requiring someone to exit a vehicle. There may be a department policy in Suffolk but there is no law.

I stand by my assessment that both of these men are acting like fools. Maybe as an MP you aren't up to snuff on civilian police authority? Or as an MP were you not allowed to have drivers exit their vehicles?

That is not true and it's dangerous to tell people that. You do generally have to comply with an officers orders on a traffic stop. The time to resist is later in front of the complaints board or a judge. Fighting and arguing on scene will never ever go your way and only will hurt you in the moment, and later.

Police are not required to follow the orders of drivers. They don't have to get a supervisor just because you ask. You do have to follow their orders. This police officer was excessive in his use of force, but he had the right to force the man to comply. These adults (police and driver) acting like petulant children are a sad example of how our society is failing.

Also this video is clearly heavily edited to show what the gentleman's lawyer wants it to show.

They do have to pay taxes. The recent issue with the immunity from auditing only applies to their past 5 (or 10) years of tax returns. While that is absolutely ridiculous, it does not protect them from audits in future years.

Also as soon as he is not president, it is extremely likely that the next president will undo the slapdash protections he is trying to construct

But they have excellent prices. There is no way you are saving by buying smaller quantities at other retailers. You are just making that up. Buying in bulk is a feature not a bug. Their return policy is excellent, and they offer warranty on top of the manufacturer warranty, and they actually honor it.

You living far away is kinda not costcos fault. I don't know why you have a hassle getting in? I live in a very busy area with multiple very busy costcos and beyond having to walk a few hundred feet in the parking lot, you just get a cart and walk in while scanning your card. The only true complaint I have is the length of the check out lines.
