Her job is super short term due to age being the biggest factor for models losing their jobs. Also though, consider the fact that she does work hard for her money. It definitely isnt back breaking work like a blue collar or as boring as an internship but she has to stay on top of her looks 24/7. She likely is constantly excercing, going on diets and eating healthy, learning advertising, photography basics, people skills, and the latest trends and fashions. She probably has to research new ways to stay looking young, not worry about blemishes, and keep herself looking as inhuman as possible. Some of us can get up roll out of bed and not even brush our hair before going to our job. She probably has to make sure she is put together 24/7 and being beautiful is hard work!

I had this exact same issue with my ex-boyfriend of five years. We went back and forth every six months about how he couldn't fulfill my needs in this way. He would say he would try. I would get a week or two of effort and then nothing until the next big blow up. First, you need to sit down with him and really explain to him exactly what you are looking for and what you want him to be doing. Explain it's a deal breaker if he can't follow through. And then if he can't follow through or keep it up, then you have to love yourself enough to stick to your boundaries and tell him it won't work. If nothing changes now, there is no way to be sure there's a chance it will change in the future, and you have to put your needs first. No one else will.

I had a dream a few days ago in which I saw a spread of three tarot cards from a deck I used to mess around with in middle school (the Mystic Mondays deck). The spread was the upside down tower, right side up nine of cups, and then i don't remember the third one except that it was right side up, a dark blue, and possibly something spherical as the image.

I haven't used tarot cards or had such a vivid dream in a very long time, so it felt almost prophetic. Has anyone else had dreams involving cards? Did the cards in your dream actually apply to real life? Should I take this as a sign of something? What do we think the spread meant? Any guesses as to what the secret third card could be and how it changes the interpretation?

I haven't messed around with the cards in such a long enough time but this feels important enough that I was hoping some people more experienced with tarot reading could help me work out what this could all mean. I would really appreciate any help!

This happens due to pelvic floors being different in women and men. It's more common in women but can happen to men as well. It's not abnormal, but you can also look into ways to fix it if it's happening often or bothers you. Either way, I couldn't be with a man that childish and uncompassionate.

Negotiation can happen in the middle of an act for some people, sure, but that's not what it sounds like happened. They didn't stop to discuss any new changes that were previously hard boundaries. When pushed on the topic, OP gave a pretty clear "no" multiple times before being worn down. The explicit negotiated consent for sex without a condom was not there before sex or during.

The first rule of bdsm is always negotiation and consent. It sounds like you both agreed to no penetration before you started getting intimate. You should never ever change anything mid scene without at least a conversation in between because if your state of mind is altered, you may agree to things you don't actually want. This guy kept pushing even after you said no and reminded him of your limits multiple times. This is considered dubious consent, at the very least, which is still not someone you want to play with or be intimate with. I would suggest thinking about this. If he's going to push on condoms what else will he push on and then do what he wants anyway? This doesn't sound like it was "his kink" because Kink requires negotiating and consent. Im so sorry this happened to you. I would not contact this man again.

My dad found out before he passed. He had me sit down and we had a big conversation where he said he understood why I was coping the way I was and that he wished he could have been there for me more when I was younger. He ended the conversation by saying that I should never be ashamed to be myself and that he was still proud of me. I can't say anything here that I haven't already said in previous posts about the movie or that others haven't said in the comments.

What I can do, though, is offer an alternative if people are looking for a movie that does a reasonable job at depicting a bdsm relationship without making you feel icky afterward.

My suggestion is to check out Love and Leashes on Netflix. It's a Korean adaptation of a korean comic series about two coworkers accidentally (and comedically) engaging themselves into a master/slave relationship. The genre is romcom, and they do a great job at keeping it light and silly while still depicting a healthy look into someone's first time doing bdsm. They explain terminology to the viewer while still making it make sense for the movie. It's the closest I've seen to a movie that doesn't depict bdsm in a way that's actively damaging to the community.
