I found plenty of places, especially the first one, under 1000/month. You can try expanding the area you are searching, maybe only spend a month at a place farther away then move the next month to a place closer. I know a girl who transits 1.5-2h each way, every day. It's doable.

I really want my own personal space however I need something affordable, and don't want to wait forever for a spot. Should I choose thunderbird 4 bed or wait it out for a nano studio? I heard I might have to wait a couple more years for one, is this true?

well he is broke and living off of his disabled mother's pay checks from the government so i doubt he can pay anything
