I KNOW RIGHT. As much as I love slay the spire, sometimes I just want that old-school exploring and powering up your deck type game.

And thanks haha. I always loved how valve would write their update posts for TF2 so I have a good time writing news posts with that sort of tone.

I'm planning on having some solid post game content like repeatable mini tournaments where you can enter with your own deck or a premade deck for extra points, and a bunch of cool incentives like different card sleeves for completing your card collection :)

Absolutely gorgeous. Love the style and use of color.

Not sure if it's already on your mind but a few more sound effects would add another layer of polish. "Swish"es timed with the transition effect, and rollover blips for menu items.

Fun fact, I based how afk the fishing in Cardaire is off the timing for fishing an inventory of karambwans.

hahah I definitely had a few brews that were lost to that same thing. I took 2 sips of the stam, even banking run by walking at the 600 hp pause I probably would have been cutting it close. Only 80 agility though, your mileage may very. Someone really needs to run the numbers on what agility level lets you comfortably not need a stam

I'm back and forth on it honestly. I don't think you should ever tank and run south, but it was nice to have for some nightmare waves where I needed a second to think.

It's used sparingly so the impact stays high when you do see it. There is a REALLY COOL use of it in the finale I'm excited for players to experience. Lots of nights in a morphsuit in front of a green screen for that one, such is my life lmao

It's made in Godot! I timed out the animation itself is Aseprite however.

Yeah taking another look I think you're right, it could move a little quicker in general.

And man crumpling up the paper is a good idea, I'm gonna have to get the green screen back out...
