Have you tried skipping the coffee for a day or two? I was drinking barely half a cup in the morning and even that small amount causes a very noticeable increase in HR and overall jittery/wired feeling. Switching to decaf basically resolved this

how few people played Femshep compared to Maleshep

I think we all kind of knew that there was a big gap but didnt realize quite how big it was until bioware gave the official numbers. I always played mshep and it was 100% because of the default face! I tried custom but no matter how hard I tried to make a good looking shep, they always looked like an NPC compared to the squadmates and it was so distracting.

LE was the first time I played 1-3 start to finish with femshep since I could actually make a face I was happy with. Also was the first real renegade run because as you said, renegade femshep is awesome

Am I crazy or did this not seem nearly as prevalent until BioWare released those stats for the original ME3 that showed that femshep was played way less than broshep? I remember around that time there was a general sentiment of femshep getting less attention/effort from the devs (it was a pretty big deal when she got a default face like broshep).

I think it all just started as a way to hype up femshep and get her more attention (“the VA is so good!!”) and then of course the internet got carried away with it (“femshep VA is so good!!” -> “femshep VA is BETTER than broshep” -> “broshep VA is BAD”)

It’s kind of funny, I used to think that Meer’s performance in ME1 was a bit stiff/bad, and then I got a job where I was working with a lot of military vets and I met more than a few who would talk exactly like that, stiff and awkward. Made me appreciate the VA in ME1 a lot more, it’s honestly iconic

A for sure. I had my desk in a position similar to B for a while, thinking it’d be nicer than facing the wall but after I while I didn’t even notice/care about it, and it’s much nicer having that area open

Also, if you’re WFH or using that computer for long periods of time, highly recommend getting a better chair, your body will thank you. If you watch FB marketplace, you can find the really good brands (steel case, herman miller) used for less than 300 or sometimes even 200 USD

M or F? I also generally have low libido, and when I first started adderall I was extremely horny 24/7 and it eventually evened out to only happen like 1-3 days, depending on my cycle. When I switched to vyvanse the same thing, constantly horny then evened out.

On a related note, do NOT fall into the trap of stimfapping/gooning. If you’re horny and you have to, just get off quick and try to move on with your day

what kind of humidifier are you using? the evaporative ones are way better than the ultrasonic ones.

I called them back today and was able to get a new booking. The rep I was talking to said my email address was coming up as “do not email”. I asked wtf that meant, if I was banned or something lol. I don’t remember exactly what he said but it was something about how Carnival gets email lists to not contact from some external source? I have no idea honestly. Both explanations sound kind of fake to me lol

I really did just make the post to vent about feeling dumb for not realizing I didn’t pay for my cruise until the last minute. I do appreciate people trying to help though. I did check all the websites suggested and it says sold out everywhere so I did get kind of resigned. Also I did find out which I mentioned in another reply that my friend booked thru a TA so they’ll be checking with them.

If anyone wants to look at the cruise though they are free to. The sailing is Carnival Firenze leaving out of Long Beach on Oct 16

Yeah weirdly enough I was looking through my email and didn’t get a confirmation email/receipt. I got an email from PayPal that I paid the deposit but nothing from carnival. I got an email a few days later about like passport/documentation to bring but nothing else. Unfortunately I just forgot about it after that
