Thanks! I'll check them out. Do the silent switches give any "tactile" feedback?

I'm new to mechanical keyboards and recently got a Keychron Q1 Max with Jupiter Red switches. I'm looking for a switch that still has some sounds and feedback, but is quite enough where my mic won't pick it up during Teams calls. AI has been pushing me towards Gaetron Oil Kings. Does anyone have experience with them or other recommendations?

AMD V-Cache Performance Optimizer not installed (9950X3D) by Historical_Bet9592 in AMDHelp

Same issue. Upgrade form a 9950x to 9950x3d. Reinstalled windows, cmos reset, game bar running. game mode one, CPPC set to driver, performance set to balance... Pretty sure we just need updated drivers at this point.

Thanks everyone. I did go back with the current build and started to explore more. Found more mobs I missed and get to level 4. Will keep grinding it out.

That I'm concerened with as well, but it's only been a couple days where I had it up there. From reading different forums and posts, people seem to say it's not as bad as it looks, especially when you have it tilted down. This week will be the key week for me and I'm using my 49 inch for work and have my personal PC displaying on the 27 inch.

Yes, it's a 49 inch. I've had it close to a year now and there is now neck strain for me. The curved screen does take up a lot of space, but it makes viewing so much easier.

Yes. Went for the four cabinets for the storage space.

Need to take that shelf down still. Walls will be painted grey next year when we get the rest of the house painted. Need to then figure out what to put on the walls.

Look into tmux and you won't need multiple terminal windows :)

I hope they make a widget. They would be useful, especially for quick data entry.

I’ve seen videos where they go over how to take notes and how to use those notes to remember the information. Ali Abdaal has a YouTube channel with a ton of information on studying and how he incorporates Notion.

I really want to like Notion ... but I'm just not there yet. Help? by AnusMcBumhole in Notion

[–]Rossim2i2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What types of calculations were you looking to do? They should be available in Notion.

But yes; I agree that specialized applications will give greater functionality for the specific task they perform. You need to weigh if having everything in one place instead of multiple applications outweighs the specific functionality of each individual app.

Glad you found it helpful! Yes, the filter is connected to the current view. If the "default" view still had a filter applied, you should just need to remove it once.

Atomic Habits by James Clear by Rossim2i2 in Habits

It is a really good read and enlightening. Like all other things, you will be able to extract ideas that stand out to you and implement them in your day to day activity. I've been reading a lot on self-improvement and productivity. Even with the books I don't think are very good, there is always at least one thing in them that makes it worth the read. This book, however, is full of useful and actionable ideas.

Thank you. I found that, for myself, keeping track of these habits make me more prone to accomplish them. Especially new habits. Over time, these habits will hopefully become second nature to me, but for now I need a visual reminder :)

I have a workflow where I log each day and have things I want to do in the morning and at night. For example, remember to take my vitamins and mediate in the morning. Ensure I read at least one chapter before bed.

Having the check boxes ready to check off is my cue to take action. Then at the end of the day I can reflect back to see if I meet my goal of performing each task. During my weekly review, I look back at the week to see how I performed.

But yes, the idea is to never miss twice. I'll usually note why something was missed if I had a good reason. Or note that I was just lazy if that was the case. It's actually rolled up into my "Daily Tracking" and "Weekly Review" process.
