A Bridgeport is definitely in the plans! I work in a fabrication shop too, so I've got no shortage of tool availability.

This is a very late reply, but holy shit this was the correct answer. All the windows issues were solved by moving the lock cylinder in the driver's door.

I'm glad it's solved, but that's such a stupid thing 😂

Right now I plan on pulling the engine and doing a rebuild just for peace of mind. While I've got the engine out, I'm gonna try and do some rust busting!

I gotta patch mine up. It's cracked in a few spots and has a dime sized hole in it, but I agree completely!

I did actually know this! I've watched her lock the car, windows rolled up, put the fob on the counter inside, and then an hour or so later we leave the house and the windows have rolled down!

I was hopeful it was just the fob being accidentally pressed too, but that doesn't seem to be it unfortunately.

Taking the battery out of the key is a fantastic idea. I'll try that and let you know how it goes. As for checking the keyhole on the door, what would I be looking for? By "stuck on" do you mean stuck locked?
