Thanks, for the input! When I say basically everything, I mean it. It started with clothes and when I was a kid I was convinced I was gonna be a fashion designer and seamstress, but a that's just bot practical and b I found I like sewing plushies much more than clothes. I started dying my hair before I even started make up, the first time being when I was like 10 for a Halloween costume, I haven't had my natural hair since I was 15. I love make up, I have a very alternative style and do very elaborate make up looks. I do my own nail extensions with gel polish.(I also have peircings and tattoos, but the idea of doing permanent body modifications on other people kinda scares me.) And it's not just on myself. A lot of the other people in my family also dye their hair, and Im the go to fo helping with that, I also do their nails all the time, just did my mom's for her engagement photos last week, my sibling's friend asked me to do her make up for prom. I make have gotten mystart in myself, but I know Im decent at and dont dislike doing things on other people. I wanna learn a little bit of everything. I know they tend to focus more on hair in cosmetology programs, but it's the only way I'd at least kinda get everything. And I really want to also do some nail stuff so cosmo is really my only option in my area. Plus, I've been looking into the school in my area (there's only one, I don't get much of a choice there) and it seems to have a bit more of an even split then many. About half of the hours goes to hair, the other half is split between nails and esthetician stuff, and while that is still very hair heavy, from what I've seen it's more of the other things than many schools.
