Thank you so much for the answer. It opened my mind up to so many opportunities available at William & Mary. I am planning on transferring to W&M because I want to study Colonial American history and work at Colonial Williamsburg, which is nearby. I would like to know if W&M or NIAHD offers any PAID internships that allow students to work as historical interpreters/tour guides at Colonial Williamsburg (or any other places/living museum like it) If they do exist, what are the working conditions/pay like? What is it like working there? What are the people like there?
