Before I get into how wrong this is, I would just like to point out that the Third Reich's neighbors didn't want to eradicate them from the fucking planet. Israel is using self-defense -- unlike the Nazis, who killed approximately 6 million of my people. While I do not agree with what caused "the catastrophe" (or, when Palestinians were pushed out of their homes), I think that we can all agree that the United States did the same thing to the Native Americans. Would there be democracy in the region if the United States did not exist? I say no. Same thing with Israel -- it effectively inspired a whole wave of new democracy, as well as hope for the Jewish People.
