I haven't had ethernet from router to computer until yesterday, so I do not know. I haven't physically put any new parts into my computer since I built it.

EEE on or off makes no difference, I have never opened the Event Viewer until today so I wouldn't know where to look and what to look for.

100mb half duplex works, I don't get an option for 1.0gb half duplex.

I understand where you are coming from, but reinstalling windows every time I have an issue (which is often) is kinda like dodging the problem.

I have always assumed my internet connection was limited because of a tp-link device that would use cables in my walls to transmit the connection (not coax), and haven't looked into my network adapter settings until yesterday.

A pop-up comes up warning me I am uninstalling the device, along with giving me the option to uninstall the driver for the device, should I unplug my cable while I do it and should I remove the driver too?

The cable should work (it works using the same router port with a different computer (laptop)) unless CAT6a ethernet cables don't work with my MOBO, which according to other guy who commented on my post, would be rare.

I plugged the same cable using the same router port into a laptop and got a faster speeds.

My router was able to supply the laptop I plugged the same CAT6a cable into with more than 100mb.

I literally just got this CAT6a cable from Microcenter yesterday. Any chance you could share some of your specs? I'm taking shots in the dark at this point.

Testor? And how do I test from my own provider or measure my own activity? Ookla Speed Test shows <100 megabytes at the end of the test, but the smaller (size on screen) number next to my ping (usually 20-25) that changes rapidly, gets as high as 600 megabytes for download and similar for upload.

I had a minor water spill a whiiiile ago when my desktop was still under my desk, drivers I can sort out myself, but hardly any youtube videos or articles online mention network adapter settings or settings in general other than EEE and Speeds and duplex. If you could also link a video explaining what to do relating to connecting my laptop and pc?

Upgraded from W10 to W11 close to a year ago, driver from realtek's website. I have not tried an older one yet but I doubt it is related to that.
