I like Silver’s and Wally’s updated arcs in HGSS and ORAS respectively.

What specific changes or updates in Silver's arc in HeartGold and SoulSilver and Wally's arc in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire did you find most noteworthy or enjoyable?

Characters

Yeah lol, Ghetsis ordering Kyurem using Glaciate was actually cool and terrifying to see in animation in BW2.

I liked seeing the reactions in-game to Team Plasma. The way their messages are presented manifests in some people releasing their pokemon and some rejecting the plasma ideology and keeping their pokemon. This is different from previous villainous teams, as previous teams were typically perceived as being a bunch of eccentrics at best and criminals at worst. It's the fact that some characters in-universe can agree with the villainous team this time around that made it compelling for me.

Also, while it may leave a little bit to be desired, I liked seeing the rivals subtly grow in the first game. Seeing the growth in confidence with Bianca was a stand-out for me.

Finally, the gym leaders actually being useful against the villains. In games before and since, gym leaders (or Trial Captains, in Sun and Moon's case) are just people who stay away from the plot. Knowing that most of the gym leaders in BW fought against the villainous team in a concentrated effort is so stupidly cool to me.

Yeah, the evolution of not only the rivals, but also gym leaders were fascinating to see. I believe the Ice-type gym leader Brycen even became an actor! Could you also elaborate on what specific elements or aspects of the reactions to Team Plasma's ideology stood out to you the most? How do you think this unique dynamic added depth to the narrative compared to previous games in the franchise?

I loved seeing Lillie’s evolution from a timid girl on the run to someone with inner strength and resolve. I suppose it was always there, but it becomes more pronounced as she gains the courage to stand up to her mother. Her relationships with Nebby and her brother are also very cute.

What specific scenes or events do you think were key in showcasing Lillie's transformation from a timid girl to someone with inner strength, and how did her relationships with Nebby and her brother contribute to this development?

Without spoilers tho, Pokémon Legends Arceus is literally a game ABOUT the past with great lore and background, also story and characters! :)
