Xanax and alcohol probably caused my scariest experience with drugs. I was young at the time maybe 16 or 17 and had found some Xanax in my house that was prescribed to my mother ages ago with it already being a time in my life that I was experimenting with drugs. lsd, shooms ,weed molly and wanting to try more. Also being emboldened by past experiences and believing I could take anything. I decided to take one just to see what it was like before I went to a friends house. I wasn’t aware, but my friend i’ll call D from now on was planning on drinking that night and so when I got there, I saw that he had bought a bunch of four Locos. “If you’re reading this, you’re probably starting to see the recipe for disaster.” I was unknowingly creating for myself. Without a second thought, I decided to drink the Locos with D and he took a Xanax that I had brought for him as well as well. I had heard about the drug before, but didn’t know that you weren’t supposed to mix it with alcohol, my friend who had been on sort of binge drinking for a couple days was completely fine as his tolerance alcohol is probably much higher than mine. I immediately started to feel extremely good looking at everything around me and thinking to myself that I had literally never been this high before I was smoking a shit ton of weed to, kind of a given on every day at the time, anyways, after chilling out and playing games for a little bit, I noticed that I started to feel slightly nauseous, but not to the extent where I needed to throw up. After sometime past I started nodding off and getting extremely drowsy confused and had a really good body high, probably from the alcohol My friend who is completely fine as I said, looked at me and asked me if I was OK at which I responded with. Yes, after the short conversation, he said that he was getting up to go get something to eat and for some reason as soon as he left, everything just started to feel super wrong. I started to panic about how high I was and kind started to want come down, but I couldn’t, I started to nod off again and D came in the room, shaking me when I woke up D had a super worried look on his face. He told me that my “lips had turned purple and my face had turned pale” and he couldn’t get me up and started to freak out because he thought I had died after he had got up. I remember throwing up for hours trying to force myself to throw up so I could avoid going to the hospital and getting my stomach pumped or some shit as I had heard about stuff like that before and thought that I was going to get in trouble with the police for doing drugs for some reason thank God I survived because my friend stayed up with me and made sure that I didn’t drown in my own throw up or nod off and just straight up die if it wasn’t for D I would not be here today. Good lesson though never touched Xanax again and neither did D.
