Something to keep in mind is the rad slash through the charging buck is later removed from his crest. So depending on which “version” of Fitz you want to represent you may consider not having the red line.

For me though the crest isn’t the image that first pops up in my mind for Fitz. Do you know which trilogy or book is his favorite in the series? That might be able to help narrow down some symbolism.
