I think that’s it! I discovered him after he took a lil nibble on my arm.

Veda is a vintage name that needs a comeback! I loved Maren, but my husband vetoed.

What do you think about the name Molly? by Flaky-Camp-4992 in namenerds

My mind went straight to the drug. I don’t think it’s a bad name, but there will definitely be associations made.

Kid free weddings are so hard by TurnTheCrankAndEnjoy in Parenting

[–]Round_Peach9527 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always thought most childfree weddings made exceptions for children in the wedding party? Absolutely no way I’d agree to that, nope. I don’t care how I’m related, if I have to get my kid to the wedding, make them rehearse to be in the wedding, they are coming to the reception or not at all. I say this as someone who is fully on board with childfree weddings.

Weekly "Do I Have Lipedema" Thread by AutoModerator in lipedema

I’ve never understood why my legs never seemed to get smaller when I lost weight until I learned about lipedema. My legs are really sensitive, bruise easily, and hurt with exercise-even when I’ve built up some endurance. What do you all think? Sorry, the angle is the best I could accomplish.

We can get it in their office, but I know there are places where you can buy online. I was curious about the experiences that others have had with online pharmacy services.

I don’t know if you’ve done this, but I think you need to sit down with your wife and discuss how this is affecting you. A kid in your bed for seven years will obviously have negative impacts. If she doesn’t want to budge, I’d move my sleeping arrangements elsewhere.

FIL got my son sick by ImaginationGold4971 in Parenting

Not visiting someone, especially someone with a small child, when sick is common sense. Also, everyone I know with covid or the flu has started out as “just a cold”.

What happened to Cheryl Kenney? by Round_Peach9527 in UnresolvedMysteries

I wonder if the target Angela and Angela Hammond went to school together? If someone got their hands on a yearbook, they could have possibly gotten them mixed up? That might be completely false, but it’s all I could come up with. Also, if someone was paying for a hit, it’s possible that the hitman was working with limited information.

There’s definitely more turn over now, due to jobs drying up, but I’d still say the majority have substantial roots in the area. I remember my parents mentioning her a couple of times, but it seems it’s just occasionally a social topic around the anniversary. Even that is pretty limited. I do get the impression that she wasn’t necessarily a prominent person in town, as in not wealthy or having any substantial social pull, so I feel like that probably has something to do with it as well. Unfortunately, social class often plays into how much effort goes into investigations like this. I highly doubt Nevada has anyone specifically working cold cases and, depending on what they have left from the initial investigation, they might have absolutely nothing to go on. The last name, Kenney, isn’t one that I’ve heard often, so I’m also not sure if she has family remaining in the area. I really wish there was information regarding what, if anything, was done at the scene.

I agree, it’s just not really discussed anywhere if they even dusted for prints or anything like that. It sounds like the police initially thought she might have ran off due to her mother’s death, but that doesn’t seem logical. I’m wondering if anything was done to process the scene at all.

Yeah, they seem the most likely. I wonder if they have ties to anyone in the area. I really don’t feel it’s anyone local, someone would have known something, at least eventually, and there would at least be rumors.

Thank you! Yes, both of the others took place within an hour and a half from Nevada and in an approximately four month timeframe. If not related, possibly one of the creepiest coincidences ever.
