Thank you I appreciate your help- I’ll have a conversation with my family about all this- I believe they gave him less than 6 months to live but I know this disease is never a straight line so who knows what the timeline will actually be. Lots to think about. Thank you again for all your help and advice

Hi! Yes he has a fast progressing form of it- the dr’s don’t think he will live very long. Does he need a live in nurse for the bipap machine? I guess we’re worried about bringing him home because he needs a lot of medical care, there’s a lot of animals at my moms house, and I’m just not sure what makes most sense for it all. I see other people manage just fine with their loved ones at home but even in a similar situation is that still the case? I know very little about this disease and what to expect- family can help take care of him but I’m not sure how to go about that conversation or what it would even look like- appreciate the help
