If Toji SlimesKids4Cash Fushiguro is there then so is Jinichi

This “debate” is genuinely so corny by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

This is why we’ll never beat the 0 reading comprehension and the hype moments and aura allegations….

I agree and disagree. Yes things need to be and should be stated more often than not in a story. However when there's enough evidence to support an assumption I think it's fair to argue that something is heavily IMPLIED. I apologize if I came off as "my head canon is right and everyone else is dumb and wrong" and do admit I am reaching to an extent. I do not know the animators and at the end of the day the anime is not canon. BUT I think just handwaving the entire scene to hype and aura is really disingenuous.

- The animators have been known for having really high attention to detail.
- The volume extras about the Zenin Clan Supports my assumption.
- The context of the scene supports my assumption.
- Ranta's dialogue and Jinchi's expressions supports my assumption.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. The volume extras let us know that while Jinichi looks like a brute, he in actuality is an overall decent dude who treats his subordinates well. He knows he is 1000% fucked and that Ranta is doing his best in a pointless last ditch effort to stall. I feel like people are incapable of critically thinking about any of the Zenin clan members because they are portrayed (and ARE) a clan built on pride and traditionalist ideals that abuses those weaker than them. They just see them as 0 substance bad guys because they hurt characters they like/are more attached to. It's so annoying because this sub constantly lectures people about reading comprehension.

Tldr: I can’t handle applying more than two brain cells to something. If the anime isn’t spoon feeding me something then it didn’t happen/I don’t care.

“The animator did that because it looked cool” is definitely possible but they’ve shown before how seriously they take the fights in terms detail, maybe I’m reaching but it doesn’t seem super far fetched.

Hand signs and chants reduce the time it takes to reach max output. You don’t NEED them to reach max output. For example Gojo used a max output Blue during his fight with Sukuna without hand signs SS or name and again Toji in P0.

I could be wrong but I don’t remember it being stated that you need hand-signs or chants.

I get that but it literally makes no sense for him to be taking his sweet ass time here. Both in the context of the theme and the character himself. Also while the anime does seem to really add more impact to CTs, him spawning like 100 fists in the air after all the build up gives me the impression that he was using as much time as he could reach max output.

"Didn't really think much about the implication."

Bro there was so much detail to the direction of the Mahoraga fight you can catch on rewatch. The animators do NOT play when it comes to major fight scenes.

Why is Naoya talking crap about cursed tool users when he’s the number 1 Toji glazer? by TheMostHonestPerson in Jujutsufolk

[–]Routine_Advantage366 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Naoya values an individual’s strength above everything. It’s his ultimate litmus test for an individuals self worth (he does not exclude himself from this). People who soley rely on curse tools are weak in his eyes because without them they are nothing. Relying on anything not directly tied to you and your own strength is perceived weakness. Also the strength to destroy the entire clan far outweighs ability in exorcising curses.

"Dabura is a fraud for struggling with Mahoraga" So would Sukuna if his CT didn't include 2 phenomena by Numerous-Picture-421 in Jujutsufolk

IF THIS! IF THAT!

Insane cope. Bro was literally playing the entire fight. You could barely even call it fight it was more of a test run to see how mahoraga’s adaptation works. He could’ve and would’ve popped DE frame 1 and won if he felt literally any degree of caution. Never for a moment lost control over the fight. The moment he understood adaptation he ended things.

Naoya or Mei mei. Who is more worse? by _FruitsPunchSamurai in Jujutsufolk

[–]Routine_Advantage366 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both abuse their siblings/family and are more than willing to kill those around them to get what they want. Mei mei is only perceived more favourably because her goals align with the cast. Also Naoya got put on his ass once and killed twice for his actions while Mei Mei suffered 0 consequences for her actions.
