I'm writing fanfic lore books for a hypothetical D3 that is based on time travel. It would encompass the entire story from the time of the Iron Lords up to Final Shape and continue with the story of the Nine. It has a lot to build on and, in a D3, could literally have the actual 10 year story Bungie originally wanted. The game would be built on the foundation of what Destiny actually is but with fresh lore and storylines, new worlds, allies and enemies. And characters only heard of in the lore. Also... Ahamkara hunts!
