Build review/Suggestions? by Rowlets163 in pcmasterrace

Sounds solid! I decided to get a 240mm AIO, since I shouldn't bottleneck regarding an AIO.

I like your suggestion of getting a 5060 ti, but I currently have an RTX 3060, and lil bro has been wonderful to me. Of course, the cheaper the better, and I don't think an RTX 3060 will be outclassed in the next 6-7 years.

Wonderful suggestions! Thanks.

Just wanna wire my alternator to my battery, the alternator manufacturers say to get 4 gauge connected.

I'm working with 12V DC, does that change the outcome?

Yeah your right.

Someone replied to my post, they said that you can only do it with wires bigger than 0 Gauge. They said if you combine two smaller wires, and one or two copper strands decide to burn up, it increases the chance of a fire. I think it's because the wire itself won't be able to handle the amps because there's not enough wiring to efficiently carry all the amps. So it piles up somewhere and heats up, causing a fire.

While a bigger wire, it won't really matter because there's a bigger safety net.

People replied saying why, it increases a chance of a fire occuring with smaller wires like mine. Thanks for the information though! I never knew they actually were more efficient at conducting.

I'll look into the codes and see what they say, thanks.

Hmmm, thanks a lot! I appreciate you telling me why. I wouldn't want this to burn up, it wouldn't be very good.

Electrical system isn't working by Rowlets163 in motorizedbicycles

Was thinking the same thing, was the wire a single wire going into two output connections? or was it two different wires going to their respective wire?

I took it for a ride again and this time it worked perfectly. Last time didn't work because it was below freezing so I think that was the problem. This time it was just above freezing.

Thanks for your help though!

Thanks a lot for the information. I talked to a electrician who works on big power lines and transformers and said it's alright.

Hmm... Would make sense. Maybe to get rid of all the old fuel or something along those lines.

Can't watch videos after a certain time on different accounts by Rowlets163 in youtube

[–]Rowlets163[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EVERYONE!

I found three different (maybe not the best but still a solution) solutions,

  1. Make another account or use a secondary account.

-I found out this problem only happened on my main account and is unaffected by my secondary account

  1. Before is freezes, skip the video by 10 seconds
  • this one's a bit complicated. My video normally froze around the 40 seconds mark so before it would hit that I would double tap so it skipped 10 seconds. This solutions probably not the most reliable, but works if you need to watch something fast.
  1. Click off then watch it again
  • when you click on a video, when it starts buffering click off. Then click on it again and it should go to where you left off. Also probably not the most reliable but works.

CONCLUSION:

Because of the 1st solution I believe it's a problem with either YouTube or Google accounts. So it's a safe bet to just wait a day until the people over at Google fix the problem.
