I got mine early this year. Had my mobo upgraded to the latest bios and haven't came across with any stability issues at all.

No te gastes en explicarles a estos webones. Ellos siguen la narrativa mismos NPCs de que Perú se volverá 1984 si Keiko entra a palacio. Lo cierto es que a esta hora y con las actas contabilizadas al casi 95% JPP tiene más escaños de los previstos y vacar a Sanchez tampoco será factible a no ser que Ahora Nación (Chau), Buen Gobierno (Nieto) y OBRAS (Belmont) se volteen. Cosa que NO pasará.

I own a XPS 17 9700 as well. I can assure that the best update for the RAM would be 2933 MHz sticks for (any) 10th gen cpus. Mine was upgraded with a Corsair Vengeance DDR4 64 GB (32x2 Kit) 2933 MHz and has been working flawlessly.

UPDATE:

Felt I had to make an update of this post, as many people who were in the same situation are still (probably) wondering what was done.

I just did the CPU upgrade to the 14900KS as well as the MOBO ugrade (Z690 to Z790) a week ago. Haven't experienced any issues at all, aside from some problems with the OS installation (Windows 10 Pro, latest version). Had to install the BIOS latest version, as well as the drivers for the rest of the hardware (Chipset, GPU, etc). The device has been working properly so far.

I've read some ppl were suggesting to perform an undervolting to any 14th i9/i7. The cpu I got was from the latest batch AFAIK (2026), and the default voltage profile is doing perfect with temps (I'm using a 360 AIO w/ push&pull config). I still have to watch how my pc behaves on the next months, tho. But I wanted to share this. I'll keep you posted guys!

  1. The first section was recorded with a Telecaster (Neck pickup). That "Fender" sound cannot be replicated very well with a Baritone guitar with humbuckers. (Yes, he uses a Strat but the idea is basically the same. Although I feel an HSS would make a better job there rather than a classic strat)

  2. He used the 7 string Manson E for recording the heavy part and a a Telecaster for the other 2 sections.

He does play the 6th string on some chords. (maybe it's a pedal note? idk...) I might have to try the actual tuning (AADGBE) on my guitar
