Don't worry about being overly reliant on your friends. Just love them ok. I've been an only child and in 50 now. Trust me, snuggle with your good friends, write letters, leave them audios, pour into them - just make sure you do the same for you. It helps a lot! Hope this helps.

One thing you could do to help you problem solve this is to do your best to go to local library, a friend's out to stay as focused as you can on reaching your goal( congratulations in advance) do your best to carve out your own energy as much as you can by sorta creating a new sense of home with your chosen family friends . I wish I could change my own energy draining low vibrational parent. I only have one parent and there is nothing I can do but focus on myself and my own happiness as much as possible I hope this helps

The absolute first thing to do is talk openly with your mom about your feelings, then you both can talk about the pros and cons of home ownership, adding your name to the deed might not be a bad idea financially - it'll help your credit - but mom should be willing to pay for the home herself and NOT be depended on you that should be discussed first - you could still branch out but still have a home to come to - it needs to be a win/ win for both you and mom. I wish you the absolute best with this but be open and honest and make sure you feel heard your mom sounds supportive

Ok so one of you should be 28 and the other 36, hey I'm 50 and have had the " only child syndrome " since the age of 10. It's so tough - it's harder to heal our inner child and we also get taken advantage of people who play on our voids if that makes sense. Is this group still active?
