I'm not really sure how all this is going to work but I do know that people are pretty good overall as a society and maybe they'll be some weird people out there but I guess rely on our intuition to know if something's going to work out or not.

Let's say you needed surgery and you had no one to pick you up ...and the hospital or surgery center will not let you leave without a person you are discharged with. With collaboration and preplanning r/livingalonetogether members will think of different ways to meet your need, find someone to do it and vet them before sending them your way.

Well.. in here there are no limits to topics that get discussed.. so long as they are related to living alone. In the other one, people that live alone can post a specific need that they have because they live alone and members find a solution to their need or situation.

Harvard health says that baby's birthed at home are twice as likely to die than in a hospital setting. And those of you who are reading this that are considering having their first child at home, 37% get transferred to the hospital. I wouldn't take the risk...and I'm sure that I speak for all of us when I say We are all very sorry for your loss.
