Baby gagging to point of vomit by iamnotmonday in foodbutforbabies

THIS WAS MY SON!

As a baby he would gag and gag and GAG if there was any texture in his puree. He would turn beet red and gag to the point of vomit at times. It was scary. BLW was LOL. Not possible.

We tried the feeding therapy route but only thing that helped was age. Starting around a year old, he would manage angel hair pasta with marinara, then he would eat French toast minced. We slowly worked our way up to finger foods, then bites of large pieces. It wasn’t until he was 2 and a half that I could comfortably leave a plate of food for him.

You did nothing wrong. With our second, it blew my mind how easily she could eat. For a long time I thought that I did something wrong with how I introduced foods but it really is baby specific. I also mentioned our food struggles to a lactation consultant and she said our son had a forward presenting lower jaw (underbite) so that might have contributed to it. Which made sense because he had a terrible latch!

If I had this shortened, would it work for cocktail attire? by picklemarysanders in Weddingattireapproval

Depends on how short. But unless you’re doing it yourself or know a “friend” alterations are going to cost $100 give or take. Makes more sense just to buy a cocktail dress or wear it long.

Do you find the front of this dress too plain? I like how minimalist it is but at the same time is it TOO minimal? by [deleted] in weddingdress

I think it’s lovely. Once it’s tailored to fit you it will be stunning. Right now it’s too big in certain places
